But... despite what the FP says 4 door trucks are cool too.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Bought it 2 weeks ago, it’s a used 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali with about 15,000 miles on it. The mileage is higher than I would have liked but my current commute is 6 miles round trip so it should even it out once we start driving the C300 again instead of taking this everywhere.

(giggles in stoner)

Kinja'd!!!

We p ut almost 500 miles on it in the first 2 weeks we have had it, mostly exploring around Indy and 98 miles home from the dealer.

The 15.6 isn’t 100% realistic because polar vortex and warming it up almost every day last week before I went to work. That being said I am not expecting to average much above 20 since it is the 6.2 V8 motor.

NIIIIIIIIICE!!!!

My nei ghbor has that exact truck. I would too, if I could afford it.  I’ll just have to stick with my OG half ton crew cab :)

I’ll be sorry to see it go.  I wish I could buy it off of you.

I consider my ‘06 Sierra crew cab to be a modern fullsize sedan.

It’s a convertible sedan, where the only part the convertible top covers is the trunk.

It doesn’t even matter it’s financed for 96 months, the payments are so low it’s great.

I kid, I kid. Without being too specific, the low end of the KBB fair market range.

Alternatively, almost $20,000 off sticker

My cousin wants to buy it, just waiting on him to sell a motorcycle. It will be staying in the family so I can still drive it every once in a while. Which really is best case scenario.

Ya, but it perfect for moving around my grandfather clock collection in absolute comfort.

I really like those.. one of the best looking trucks out there.  Congrats.  I know what Andrew is saying about traditional single cab pickups, had one for a while - but crew cab models make super good family truckster type vehicles especially away from tight urban areas.

If everything goes according to plan, this and Mrs. blacktruck’s C300 are 10-year cars and there will be an Ariel Atom, Porsche Cayman or Lotus Evora in our garage within the next few years.

This is my 7th truck and my first that isn’t a regular cab 2wd, as much as I love regular cabs not playing Tetris with grocery bags after going shopping this weekend was pretty awesome.

Nice new truck.

I, too, heartily support the RCSB truck.  I solve the grocery problem with with a shell.

I solved the grocery problem with a toolbox.

My 2014 Ram 1500 I had a while ago had a ton of space behind the seats, we could get 2 weeks worth of groceries back there and still put the seats most of the way back.

Mine would fit bags of groceries behind the seats if I didn’t have other stuff back there. . A dmittedly , I’ve got the shell for more than groceries. Open trucks beds don’t do much for me, as I need a place where things don’t fly out at 80mph, don’t get wet when it rains and are at least slightly less likely to grow legs and walk away in a hotel parking lot overnight. The shell also makes for a great way to transport the doggos.

Whoa, you are one fancy boi

First that shiny Ram, then the Lexus, then the Benz, and now an almost-new Denali?

Eh, just fancy boi cars, I drink cheap beer, dress like a bum and steal toilet paper and light bulbs from public bathrooms.

Really though, dual income no kids, we are cheap about damn near everything, I got me one of them college degrees without student loans  and my VA check every month pays for our house.
